In February, again...gas prices rose more than another penny. The national average cost is $2.97 per gallon of gas. Retail prices and crude futures have risen more than $6 bucks in 3 days just on the issues of overseas supply. The largest lost for a US automobile company was General Motors in 2007. That figure was almost $39 billion dollars. The company is offering buyouts to workers that total 74,000 people. Hewlett-Packard will cut Greenhouse Emissions with WWF to reduce C02 Greenhouse emissions by 15% during the next 4 years at all of it's worldwide facilities. They have plans to educate and inspire others for better ways by using HP technology conservation efforts. They will also assist WWF by improving the energy efficiency of their products. Now the big Insurance Industry is interested in Global Warming and Climate Change since it has the potential to increase destructive weather patterns such as flooding, storm damage, and fires. Insurance would become unaffordable in these high risk places. The states that have hurricanes already have increased insurance premiums. The insurers are leaving these states since it has become unaffordable. Global Warming is offering a lot of opportunity for people to help out and make money at the same time. It has created it's own industry and there are many things people can do for this cause and thus, create a new career in this critical time of Climate Change to reduce CO2 Greenhouse emissions for our future and the future of our children.
